Cape Sunrise Coffee didn’t have a dull, boring, monotonous start like in a warehouse or a corporate boardroom. The idea evolved on a houseboat in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where salt air rolls in off the water each morning and the sunrise is the kind that makes you stop and breathe.

That’s where I fell in love with the ritual of a truly great cup of coffee. It wasn’t just the caffeine kick, but a whole lot of wholesome experience. From specialty coffee beans, the smell of them being freshly roasted, to a steaming mug in my hand, I enjoyed each bit of the process. The quiet before the day begins, the feeling that something simple can also be extraordinary.
